Telly’s Taverna is located on 23rd Avenue in Astoria in Queens, New York. It’s a Greek Taverna. They serve traditional Greek style and Mediterranean cuisine.  The food is outrageously delicious. Everything was fresh and the service was friendly. The restaurant was full of Greeks and locals. No “kid bias” here as we were seated out front where the walls opened to the outside. This restaurant is perfect for the beautiful summer weather. Eat at this restaurant and take a short drive up the road to Astoria Park where you can take a walk and see the sunset against the New York City skyline.
